Course Introduction

Become an advanced, fully qualified Tennis coach!

This course will give graduates a huge advantage above all others and also includes special embedded knowledge EXCLUSIVE to XFE Academy.

This course is done online and then we also physically send you one the applicable union course as part of your practical, giving you experience and qualifications in both theoretical and practical fields.

Course Duration:                

This course consists of a mixture of Online or Correspondence and Full Time Studies.

The Cathsseta certifications can be completed via online or correspondence studies and students have 6 months to complete those.

First Aid and the Tennis SA courses have to be attended in an area of the student’s choice. – The Tennis SA courses are between 4 and 12 days long (depending on which course the student enrols in)

First Aid courses run over 1 to 2 days, and are usually done over a weekend.

Online and Correspondence studies can be started at any time. XFE Academy will register you for the Tennis SA and First Aid courses in your area and notify you of the dates.

Methods of Study:             

Mixture of Online or Correspondence and Full Time

Students have 3 options for this course:

Option1:

  • First Aid Level 1
  • Coach the game of tennis to intermediate and advanced level players NQF level 4 – International Cathsseta Certification
  • Play Tennis – Tennis SA Certification (pre-requisite for Tennis SA National Coaching Level 1)
  • WADA Certification

Option 2:

  • First Aid Level 1
  • Coach the game of tennis to intermediate and advanced level players NQF level 4 – International Cathsseta Certification
  • National Coaching Level 1 – Tennis SA (PLEASE NOTE: a student has to have completed the “Play Tennis” course before he or she will be allowed to do this course)
  • WADA Certification

Option 3: – This option does not include any Tennis SA courses

  • First Aid Level 1
  • Coach the game of tennis to intermediate and advanced level players NQF level 4 – International Cathsseta Certification
  • WADA Certification
