EXPLINATION OF THE EVENT
Individuals will face a variety of exercises that test their strength, flexibility, and endurance. From classic push-ups and sit-ups to cardio-intensive activities, each challenge aims to push participants beyond their comfort zones while fostering a love for diverse fitness modalities. Exercises are based on functional training and not on heavy weight lifting and minimizes risk of injury.
Combination exercises require a blend of skills. 3 or 4 exercises are combined and as many sets of the combination is done in a certain amount of time.
Individuals will be required to complete the following:
- An exercise circuit with 8 stations
- 4 Combination exercise stations
- Fitness Based Obstacle Course
Information on specific exercises that individuals will need to complete will be available from 10 February 2024.
Individual Challenge Divisions:
- Age 8 to 12
- Age 13 to 15
- Age 16 to 19
- Age 20 to 29
- Age 30 to 39
- Age 40 to 49
- Age 50 and Over
